Hi, my name’s Ben.  I’m a psychotherapist and associate psychologist.  I specialise in anxiety, and especially social anxiety.  If anxiety is causing you distress, or preventing you from living the life you want to lead, I may be able to help.

The very nature of anxiety is confusing.  It attacks our ability to think, and hijacks our ability to perform.  Small wonder it can be hard to master.  Yet our understanding of anxiety has been steadily improving over the last 30 years.  As our understanding increases, so too does our ability to treat it.

Fortunately, we are now in a place where several established therapeutic tools are available to treat anxiety.  There are also a number of promising new therapies being validated.  Taken together, these developments give good reason to be optimistic about overcoming anxiety in our lives.
